Interior question

Will the interior from a pre 89 work in a post 89. The interior in the 1990 that I just got is shot. I am wanting to know if the interior in the 88 will fit with no issues at all. If it does.....I know what I am doing tomorrow.

It will, but your rear seat belts wont fit, as pre 89's only had lap belt. Also make sure interior is from an 88, as an 86.5/87 will have a different pattern on the fabric. The panel below the steering wheel will not fit without swapping out the entire steering column.

^you may have to also remove the rear quarter speaker cage for clearance, or swap over the grills and trim(maybe) the metal cage, the speakers next to rear seats
