A few pictures of my interior. I actually finished this last fall, but I was putting it all together for SILV and was seriously rushed at the time, since then, I've just been lazy.

The front seats are recovered - not in leather, the stuff is hugely overrated IMO. This is upholstery grade microfiber - feels like suede, only it's about a dozen times tougher, and about double the cost. The stitching on the headrests was done by a local stitch shop here - they did both headrests, as well as the front and back of two t-shirts, total cost ~$70, including the cost of buying the t-shirts.

The shifter and ebrake boots are modern vinyl, which is considerably better than leather as well - tougher, just as supple, and again, more expensive. This is *not* the vinyl that came in your grandparents car.

The steering wheel is one of the ones recovered by Facime, and yes, it's actual leather. He does a fantastic job, I highly recommend his work.

Anyway, on to the pictures:

PS: The center console cover is an original CFX part, and ironically enough, the original leather underneath is near mint condition. I've had countless people try to buy the cover off me, but I'm kind of attached to it. First guy to offer me $1000 for it can have it, other than that, no sale.

I'm trying to think of something positive to say....:evil2:

Maybe if those gorgeous rear seats weren't clouding up the pic.
I'm sure they look better in person Grim. Are you going to do the
rears to match?

I would really love to have those seats, and I agree with the overrated leather comment. The seats look fantastic, except they do show signs of either your rush or that they flaw easily. I'm talking about all of the wrinkle lines. They almost remind me of the JDM Recarro's that I have always wanted.

Are those Grey leather rear seats in great shape? Are they medium grey in bad light, or Shadow?

They're purple :)

I don't care how far synthetics come, I still love real leather.

lol - those are dark blue!

The wrinkle lines are simply part of the pattern - just the way things were done in the 80's. Look at the stock rear seats, they have the same thing going on. Although the fabric does show huge differences just by how you brush it - you can draw on it with a finger! Of course it all goes away if you brush over it.

as far as recovering the seats go, i would get my money back. That and the burgundy doesn't match anything.
Burgandy? Wtf? Are you talking about where the sun is shining through the windshield tint? That's black.

lol... there's no burgundy in my car. Nothing but black and blue.

It is hard to tell. Black works. What are the plans for the rear?
Leather vs. Cloth....and the beat goes on. As long as its clean and well done, which this is.

I went to Katzkin site, where they have a interactive build your custom seat.:3d_frown::3d_frown: No more supra on the site. They had suedes but couldn't get a pic.

I see purple/burgandy. Since they are black they make the car look so much better in person i bet. Those seats look so comfortable!!! Clean interrior. Great job!
