Hi guys,
My boss gave me this magazine at work to read.
Interesting article.
In U.S.A. about 75,000 engineers graduate each year
In China 750,000 - a million engineers graduate each year
In India 350,000 engineers graduate each year.
Asian countries encourage and help fund students who want to become engineers. Universities give you priority if you want to major in engineering.
In USA families would not encourage their sons or daughters to take an engineering degree. Most people want to study law, medicine and business....There is too much lawyers and doctors and business people here.
And engineering professors from well known universities here visited a few Asian countries esp China and commended well n their engineering degree programs.
What do uo guys think?...Is Asia going to be the next Engineering capital?
Cheers,
Roy
