intercoolers

Now in the U.S.
ummmmmmmmmmm yea i know this might be a dumbass question... but has anyone driven there turbo car in the rain and have u splashed water in ur intercooler....well i was wondering if anything will mess up if i do or not.....

This is the last thing in the world that would mess anything up, I would think. You shouldn't splash water 'in' your intercooler since it should be sealed well enough to hold minimum 8 psi pressure, and we all get water 'on' it any time it rains.

your intercooler is a sealed unit hot air from your turbo passes through it to your intake manifold water will not interfere with how it functions ,unless you have a leak some where in the system.

getting water "on it" won't hurt it at all. your car will actually accelerate a little faster being as the rain getting on the intercooler will cool off the air temp a little more
