Intercooler set-up

Just a question on my intercooler set-up... I have a 57 trim ct-26 going into
2" intercooler hard pipe, into a intercooler with a 2.5 opening and 2.5 pipe going the throttle body. Now my question is will the 2" pipe from the turbo to the intercooler affect performance or is 2" fine for a 57 trim? Will 2.5" make that much more of a difference? thanks.

i would think it would make a little bit of difference. do the 2.5 if you can.

People see very good gains with 2.5 inch setups on stock ct-26's.

I would assume its even better for larger turbos....

You should see a very noticable gain from going to 2.5" piping.

Don't be surprised to see gains of over 20 horsepower with other supporting mods by doing this.
