interchangeble 7m and 1j parts?

i have a 7mgte and im planning on doing my 1j swap sometime this summer. i found a spot that will sell me a motor tranny ecu and uncut harness out of a supra for 1500 but i might be missing a ignitor and maybe a map sensor. he isn;t sure yet he still has to get back to me. but my question is can i use a 7m ignitor on a 1j??

are there any parts from my 7m that i can use for my 1j at all? thanks for the info guys.

oil and coolant, that's about it.

No the igniter isn't interchangeable.

I wouldn't reccomend re-using used oil and coolent in a 1JZGTE, or any engine really.

ummm the top plate for the A/C compressor....keep that.

There are several 7M items you can discard once you 1JZGTE swap:

Torque Wrench
Gasket Scraper
Wire Wheel
Kitty Litter

well at least keep the torque wrench. Who knows...you might get a cheap 2JZ-GE motor and want to go 1.5JZ.

Might? There are two 2jzge's locally that are $75 complete with tranny ready to drop into a SC300 and run.
