The videos of going over bumps are the best. I wonder how it would perform if you really beat on it. Seems very cool though.

Car and Driver did an article about the BOSE system awhile back.

Nifty pics of a LS400 with the system leaping over a 2x6" laying on end in the road without spilling a drink inside of the car.....

It has sensors that read the road ahead, and plan each wheel's movement before the car get's there.

So, it see's the obstruction, plans on getting over it, and the front and rear suspensions jump up and over the object v/s running it over. All the driver feels is a slight upward motion, and the car sails over the board.

Too awesome.

Looks like Bose is going to sell this? I sure hope they hurry and retrofit it to our Supra's....

Weight is the big issue right now, I believe the system may add a couple hundred pounds to a vehicle, making it great for large luxery vehicles, but not much else. It will be a while before it comes out for any normally priced vehicle, and probably longer for aftermarket.
