ok i wasnt sure about this so id thought id ask, my friend has a 1jz but he has no intake, he took of the piece rite before it splits into the two turbos and i have a solid intae that most ppl have, we raced with the same mods and he beat me by like 2 cars, then i raced his car and he raced mine and the same outcome his car pulled over mine, does that make that much difference not having a filter there?:1zhelp:

About 5whp, at least on the N/A 2JZGE, that is dyno tested by me and my friend.

I would imagine the same on the turbo car.

It's a great mod til you suck in road grit after a few months, and your engines compression drops to nothing :)

yea but i kno that no filter is stupid especially for sucking up dirt and junk, could on just put like a screen mesh to cover it up, it would just suck small particles instread of like RoCKS lol

Something is very wrong if you think an intake filter(or lack thereof) possibly made a difference of 2 whole car lengths in a race.
