Hey there,

Just wondering if someone could possibly do me a HUGE favor, and post up some pics of their intake temp sensor plug, possibly with a closeup of the inside of the plug, and the color of the wires (which color is on the right, and which is on the left)

It would be a great help, as the plug i have does not for the life of me fit on the sensor, and i am positive i have the correct plug. possibly the previous owner of the harness was using a 2jz sensor or something (i don't know if they are different)

but as a last ditch effort, i may just end up fashioning my own plug, so i just need to know which wire goes to which side of the sensor

This is the plug i have, which i was told should fit....

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer,
Trevor

There are 2 different sensors. You have the older plug, and the newer sensor.

What you can do is de-pin the connector using a needle, safety pin, etc and slide the 2 metal pins into the sensor. They will remain snug as long as nobody yanks on it.

If you want the right connector, or sensor, I should have one.

thought something like that would be the case.

i think i am alright now just pinning it, unless i find out i need a new sensor.
I'm the only one under my hood anyway.

thanks alot for the quick response, and ill let you know if i need either part.

any clue on which wire goes on which side of the sensor? should be a pretty quick process of elimination haha, but if someone happens to know off hand, i would be happy to know.
