Not hard if your a machinist/welder/fabricator, hard if not. Look at the detailed pics in the misc. vendors section at the manifolds that Ron builds. For what he charges, I would just buy one from him.

Ditto if there wasn't so much Custom on mine I'd have saved a heap of time by buying from Ron!

Then you should already know if you can build one or not.

Ian ain't no pup to welding and he said it was a pain in the "arse".
When people say "Buy one from Ron R. or Sethron", we're not kidding.

Here is link to step by step 1JZ manifold build. Write up is in Russian but you get the idea how it was done. Intake is copycat of JUN for mk4

It was done by my friend, he made the same mani for my 7M
HTH
Vladimir, 89T

The problem with that mani design is that all the v-stacks inside create turbulence and lessen the flow rate. There was a flow test done by someone on SF, and it included a mani with the v-stacks and a mani where the bottom plate of the plenum incorporated the "round over" (like what I did on my mani, pic below). I belive Ron does them like this.
Using stacks like that are good for individual TBs and no plenum.
BTW, like the others have said, after all the work I put into mine. I would suggest just buying one of Rons.
