So I was out cruising the other night up and down the "strip" here in saskatoon everyone kind of hangs out and does a bit of racing. I raced a 92 Integra GS-R, easy kill.. But still a nice car. Then next on the list was a 89 Probe GT.. Again another easy kill, then again.. what else do you expect, its a ford. :icon_razz

Then a guy cruises past me in his black Infinity g35 coupe.. So I start thinking, hey, maybe I'll get a good race out of him. So I speed up to him and make sure he knows im up for a race. It was me and a buddy in my car, and he was by himself. We hit a red light, and when it turns green we take off slowly. Im at about 2500rpm in first as Im waiting for him to get on it, and sure enough he does. I hear his car rev up and put my foot down. He stops pulling on me at about 4500rpm in 1st. I shift at about 5200, and continue to pull through 2nd gear. I got about 3/4 of a car length on him and shift. By the top of 3rd gear I have 2 car lengths on him and let off. :evil2:

He pulls up to me, and my friend being the cocky little one decides to talk shit lol. First thing he says "how does it feel to lose to a 20yr old car?" and the guy replys "well its probibly worth a quarter of what mine is".. And my friend replys, "hahaha, and you still lost!"

I felt pretty good considering a g35 isnt a slow car and wasnt sure what my car was capable of. I was kind of curious what year it was though. My current mods are a 3" custom downpipe, 3" custom exhaust and about 9lbs of boost. My supra is an 86.5 with a 7mgte and LSD.

And that's when the friend walks home for being a dick. I hate cocky people who think their car (or one they are riding in) is the King Shit. No matter what, there's always someone faster and the smartasses eventually figure that out after talking smack :3d_frown:

Yeah, gotta agree - someone starts talking shit in a car they don't own - that's walking time for them.

For that matter, with very few exceptions, shit talking is flat stupid, imho.

I would have appologized, but I hit the U-turn lane and he went straight. Maybe I will run into him again. Yea my friend, he is a little ricer.. A honda owner at that, lol. But he wasnt completely sober either, I dont think he would have found his way home.. and if he did, it would have been atleast a 3 hour walk.

At the end of the day, the G35 is still a G35. I like the looks of those cars, slow or not. Good kill though but find a new friend :)

Suprahero, your evil. But I like your thinking. :biglaugh:

I also like the g35's, they are nice cars. But then again.. Supras, anything else if just transportation. :naughty:

I like the g35's also. There was a really good looking black one that was at a redlight beside me about a month ago. He wanted to race until he asked me how much boost I was running. I told him 20psi and he said that he knew he would lose and changed his mind. I should have lied to him, but I"m forced to tell the truth.

Just teach your friend some manners before he gets you and him in more trouble than you can handle.
