my transmission is empty with the exception of whats left in the torque converter. I have a bunch of quarts of Castrol Multi import vehicle ATF....can this be used or is it no good? I know the trans calls for dex II and I can use dex III or dex IV but I cant find any information on the stuff I already have. I bought it for another car to change fluid then found out that I needed a special pump to put the fluid back into the transmission so I've just had this fluid sitting.

You could use it if it's compatible with dexron systems. It says on the back of the bottle.
I prefer to use regular dex 3 or 6 myself.
