I'm starting to doubt the creditability of Tekken's cast on IMDB.

Recently added : Jackie Chan, Ron Perlman, and James Franco????!?!?!

Also, I recently read that Chiaki Kuriyama ( Battle Royale, Kill Bill ), claimed she was not in the Tekken movie. I do know this film is filmed. I do know that some of those actors are in it. My question is why haven't we heard anything about it when it's been done filming for like a year, and is supposedly coming out in October. Also Nathan Jones was added later but not as late as the rest. I mean, where are some previews? They have a site with the logo that says coming 2009 but that's it...

Confused. :3d_frown:

So, how often have you guys noticed IMDB being wrong is my question? I mean this cast is practically a joke since that would be a sick video game fighting movie cast.

I don't understand how you make a movie out of Tekken. Of all the cut scenes and characters, it just didn't seem that interesting.

I know the game is popular, but that doesn't warrant a movie. At least Silent Hill and Resident Evil had substance and story.

Honestly it does have some good things going for it. A) It has some real martial artists in including MMA stares. B) Jin, the main character in Tekken is played by the guy who does all of Tony Ja's martial arts cinematography.

Story? I don't know. Tekken's story never really took itself too seriously.

I wish the best since I'm a Tekken nut however. I can say it couldn't any worse then the DOA movie.
