Im new so I guess i'll introduce myself. I'm Noah from Memphis and I have recently aquired an 89 supra turbo...in less than perfect contition. When I bought the car it had a blown radiator and headgasket. So I rebuilt It. New hks gasket, oem radiator, arp hardware, new ic pipes from cooleeze, new ngk plugs & wires, flexalite fans, titan cam gears, hks dp and bov, fujitsubo exhaust, optima batery, 130 amp alternator, and God knows what else. still needs to be tuned in but drives well as is. New waterpump and timing kit soon. Has the adjustable suspension that doesen't work and rs*r springs. I think the rear end or drive shaft may need to be replaced or repaired. Other than that I love it and hope to get some good ideas and tips here!

Nope! Unfortunatly I do not.....but we can remedy that. Nice to see you join and post on my thread though nobody else has as of yet. 1jz is fine but I need my new beater before I'll go down that road. Im thinking an old accord, civic, or corolla for that task. --Ban-kai bakimono--

True but unlikely that will happen. It has been sitting for 2 years so it will require as much work if not more so than the turbo. And you know how lazy I can be. But, should fortune shine upon me, I won't hesitate to add to my yota collection. And that would be a good place to stuff the 7m should I go 1j. But as before I don't see that in the immediate future as I am not made of cash.:runaway:

you might want to look into the carrier bearing first in your d/s woes,it might be the culprit.
Thanks for the input! It's a weird vibration that only happens ocassionaly in slow turns (2-10mph) and sometimes when I put it in reverse. I hope it is something that easy to replace and not my lsd!

just replacing it will do womders. it does not have to be a pricey all aluminum one,you can have a single steel piece one made by just taking the measurements and having a local off road shop make it.

Yea Im probably going to have one made at a local machine shop. Guess its going to make removing the trans a little easier.
