So as some of you know, I've been working hard with the design of the interior and exterior on my car for its overhaul. Since I didn't think I had the time I had an autobody shop dye my dash and other interior pieces dark graphite. When I went to pick it up today the dash looked like they forgot to spray the color and just left it primer gray. The dash wasn't dark graphite, however they say it's the color sample I chose. The dash looks almost like the factory gray some of you have as an interior color. The worst part was, Just the dash alone cost $180cad and I sent $100 previoulsy to have the bubble fixed. I simpily told them that if it doesn't look darker in the car as they say it will, I want them to refund the material cost to me, and they aren't going to complete the job. I wanted them to do it, because I had soo many other things that needed to be redone, such as sueding the A-Pillars and everything back and making my CF consol and door pulls. I just bought 5 cans of SEM color coat dark graphite paint and I'm going to find the time to do it myself. I just can't trust anyone now when it comes to contracting work out for the car. And somehow SEM's dark graphite looks the way it should. I think I'll show them the can an color and get them to respray it for no charge.
