I'm back into the game! got me an 89

well, didn't take long for me to realize what i've done. (selling my 87 2jz)
i missed her so much i had to get another. AND IT FEELS GOOD TO BE IN AN MK3 AGAIN!!!!

i picked up an 89 targa, 5spd, NA. White with...the awful burgandy interior...but, it is starting to grow on me engine sounds great, runs great, idles great. as i started driving it, i was like,where's the boost... lol
i miss boost

next year when i get back from the desert, i'll buy another 2jz and maybe tackle putting a 6spd in... i don't know yet...

This is how I did mine when I was NA, it made for a nice cold air setup. I run a similar one on my 1jz.

that looks good, i totally forgot until now that i have a ton of 2.5" pipes i can make an intake out of. and i still have the FIPK that i had on the 7mgte a while back.

i'll have to get a camera and take better pics soon... for now though, she needs a lot of cleaning and a lot of fixin.

well, i got a 2.5" pipe in to the MAF. then i ook off the old filter box assembly, and i had to drill another hole in the adapter that came with the 7M-GTE FIPK, because the GTE has a bigger hole. but it looks good in there and i can't tell if it feels a little more powerful in the low end, i think it does. it picks up speed easier.

now i'm lookin for an exhaust to open things up even more. something around $300...anybody know what my options are.


by the way... my right foot is killin me. i stepped in a crack and my ankle twisted, and my foot HURTS...then for like half the day, my right ear was all weird, like when you have water in it from coming out of a pool, when i talk it sounds weird.
