since im goign to replace my HG with a stock one, do i have to do the process of milling the block, or do i have to just clean it real well and make sure its not warped? if it does, then im just gonna buy a mhg.
If your prior head gasket was blown I would have the head skimmed and hand-lap the block. If your prior was not blown I would check it with a straight edge and clean it with brake cleaner and/or gasket remover, scraping with a razor blade.
