I have just installed my CPS on the new engine using instructions I have found around here to be exatct: http://www.jblmk3.com/id92.htm. I have checked ignition timing with diag termials jumped set it to about 12 advanced and with jumper out it is set to 14 advanced. Everything sound fine so far but since i have used instructions from URL above my ignition timing range while adjuting on CPS is between 10-25 degrees. It wont go lower than 10 and no highier that 25 or so. So the question is if thats normal or I'm of a tooth. Car runs fine without bogging or RPM jumps on idle [still on jackstands] but it seams to have a slight RICH condition - smell of unburned gas and a little of white smoke when I rev it highier. I should add that I'm running "stock" exhaust with both cats [upper on DP and main] gutted - so basically stright down [sounds NiCE]. All vacums connected and no leak observerd, also all new hoses [including accordion] and new clamps where necessary. Vacum gauge i got with my timing light in a set shows about 15 and hits the zone where "late timing" is marked on the gauge. I realize it is not necesarly the case but i seam to have a vacum leak somewhere [with that reading taken into consideration].

One more thing - Since a label on my EGR vacum modulator is gone I was wondering which side of vacum goes where - since there is only one way to mount it in the bracket [ 2 litle nothes on the backside] so we can basicly cal one outlet "drviver side" and other passender side - wchich one goes to EGR and which to vacum source on the vacum tree mounted on intake runners

Help and opinions of Supra Warriors would be greatly appriciated. Have a good weekend guys and a lot of trouble free miles from your pupils

I would check your codes also, look for a code 51.
