what would you say my car with the following mods would have...

mods...
1.2mm hks mhg (head was resurfaced to match)
GM MAFT (w/ 3in GM MAF)
RC550's
4:30 rear end (I'm not sure if that makes much diff in the hp)
Apexi AVC-R (usually set to stock boost and then sometimes 18psi)
stock turbo
random cone intake

I just kinda wanted to get a hint as to what I'm going to be lookin at when I get to the dyno...thanx...

I'm gona guess around 280, simply because it's not really over the top yet. Good fuel, good flow, but nothing much else to warrant high hp.

It's not as bad as it used to be though. About two-three years ago people were saying you couldnt run more than 12psi on the stocker. So it's getting better.

I ran 16+ psi on a stocker for over a year. I know many other people that ran 16+ on the stocker also. I had the stocker up to 20 psi on multiple occasions. You dont wanna do it without a nice intercooler and gas, but it can be done just fine.

At 17 psi the stocker screams.

i was just always under the impression that it's past it's max efficiency rate after 15psi. though, i a good intercooler would most definately help, as you already stated. :)

I've ran 1.1 bar (roughly 16.5 psi) on an occasion or two although I didn't mean to run any more than 1 bar (14.7 psi). I've ran 1 bar here and there over the span of 2 or 3 months. I don't think I'll be doing much of that anymore since I've got some minor shaft play. I think I'll keep it below .9 bar from now on since I really don't need it to take a shit on me. I need it to last until I get my SP61GT installed and I'm not sure when that will be.

I have ran 1 bar before I installed my HPF IC kit and I don't even know what the turbo was putting out-beyond 20 psi, I'm sure. I would really not recommend doing that. That was dumb on my part, but at least the CT didn't shit while I put a hurtin' on a '04 S2000 from 60 mph.

You have to remember that aftermarket ICs and piping make a significant difference in getting the maximum efficiency out of your turbo. The stock IC isn't too bad (about 70% efficient) but the piping is really shitty. A turbo doesn't have to work nearly as hard to get the desired boost at the manifold with a nice IC setup.

280? I'm thinkin a little more than that... c\ I stuck next to an EVOIIIV up to 120mph with out the injectors intake maft and boost controller... I would think/hope I'm at a little more than 280...
