If you had $250 what would you get for a mkII?

I got some extra cash that I plan on spending on my 82...
Crapp I already have (or are on their way:

New shocks
Lowering springs - 2.5"
New bushings all around
strut/sway bars
Intake
exhaust/header
Elec fans
Fluidyne Radiator
HKS filter

I want some more go-fast goodies. Maybe some actual name brand (not Xact) plug wires. Good plugs. Ceramic brake pads. Piddly stuf like that, basicly. Maybe someone will think of something that I'm just glancing over, which is why I made this thread... Nothing like "turbo" or anything thats gonna cause me to fabricate anything.

I know this sounds basic, but you could give her the care she deserves and buy a good detailing/cleaning, inside and out. I don't know how well kept your car is, but a little detailing can bring that diamond out of the rough.

^ lol

Have you seen my car? She gets enough love/care for every car on SM. :icon_bigg

I've got hundreds of dollars in detailing crapp, that I actually use.

A car cover was an idea I was thinking of though. Since she has to sit all winter (garaged) because of the stupid snow/salt.

15lbs worth of microfiber towels... assuming friends don't use them to wipe with. (jason)

*edit #2*
I also thought maybe aftermarket gauges to replace the stock cluster... I know they'd all need new senders/sensors, any input on how much of a PITA that would be?

^ I have been looking into Nawz as well.

*edit*
Sorry i'm bored.
here's my current best option, IMO
New NGK Iridium plugs, NGK wires,Bosch cap/button, New balls joints, all wheel bearings/seals- after discount, $257 and some change.

Wires are atleast 4 years old, plugs are cheap-o coppers, cap/button is 4 years old, ball joints are 20+, and I've replaced one or two wheel bearings, but it'd be nice to have them all new since I do actually drive this piece.

Any input on better plug/wire combo? Anything that's other than routine maintanance that I may have overlooked?

i dont know if you plan on keeping the 5m in there, but you could pick up a MSD 6a ignition system for 200, or the 6al for 275. the 6al can increase your rev limit.

^ Any idea on HP gains? I'd do anything for 30 more horse... :icon_bigg

no clue, but better spark and higher revs are a + in my book, it will probably react quite well with all of your other mods as well.

W/ a flatbad I could break into the 15's...

but seriously... I've taken down BoostLee w/ it, even on Interstate pulls. :icon_bigg

With $250 maybe I could buy 1000lbs of lead to put in the trunk so I could weigh as much as a mkIII AND pull the front wheels.
