I'm getting ready to bring my computer-repair business website live, and I'd like to get any comments / feedback any of you have on it.

It's basic, I know, but I don't want a flashy site.

I'm just going to have the site up temporarily to get some feedback on it. No need to go live until it is complete

The City & phone number being the same size as the site name is competing too much with it, maybe make it a little smaller? Also is you could fix the images with the white outline it would a much better.

Besides that, looks good!

add some color... and borders around the buttons, its nice, but rather "bland" or "boring"... spice it up! you want to keep people interested and reading.

post up some ideas for the computer systems too, like the gaming machine... put a stage 1, stage 2, and stage 3 kind of thing. and then people could customize them to their needs.

IJ - pictures are always nice, old people like pictures too!

After a first quick look I'd say it looks good. I like the colors.

What I would work on tho, mind you this is all personal preference and I'm a lil perfectionist sometimes so don't get me wrong here I think it looks really good already and you could leave it like that but... you asked, so... this is what I would work on some more or at least think about:

- Main is good, straight forward. I'd organize it a little bit more tho... more paragraphs, don't squish it all together. Headline included (I agree with the number and city name being smaller)

- Services I like alot. The only thing that messes with my head is that Laptop repair is white and bold and all the following links aren't bold at all.

- Location and Contact Us is something I would keep in one link. It would help use up the space in Contact Us, you know what I mean?!

- About Us is good, I personally wouldn't bother with the links tho and have them converted into headlines instead.

- And the pics... I wouldn't have them on the main page... too little space imo. Have them at the bottom or somewhere else... or leave them out completely... I think it would work just as well.

- Oh and the ummm... I don't remember what it is called but the sliding bar thing on the right. It's all greyish/ whitish still. I'd paint it orange

So yeah, that would be my 2cents. Good job and Good Luck!

I didn't exactly analyze with a fine-tooth comb, but the one thing that pooped out for me was the pictures on the main page, the fuzzy white background around the edges of them looks a little tacky, and I'm sure new pictures without those borders will be easy enough to find.

Good calls all around This is still a WIP - I'm working on a flash animation with my company logo that will replace that city name + phone number setup at the top. It's really just a space holder up there

Top Secret, you're right, I think I will combine location + contact us. Same with removing the extra level concerning laptop repair.

Ok, I implemented a couple of changes. Ignore the title bar across the top for now - it's just place holding until I finish the flash I'm working on for up there.
