Hey guys,
I've got an 88 n/a and it just started doing something really strange. The car starts strong but while it's idling it surges for no reason. First it goes up to 2k rpm then down to 1500 then back up to 2k. I checked my accelerator cable and it's fine. The weird thing is the ecu error codes, first it blinks very fast then when I tap the gas it stops and gives me a code 51 then returns to fast blinking.
51 - Switch Signal
Diagnosis
* No "IDL" signal, "NSW" signal or "A/C" signal to ECU, during diagnosis check.
Trouble Area
* A/C switch circuit
* A/C switch
* A/C amplifier
* Throttle position sensor circuit
* Throttle position sensor
* ECU
I am about to go through these checks just wondering if there were any suggestions. Thanks guys.
