I tried this before to check if my isc was ok. I unplugged the isc and the rpms went up at 1,500 to 2000 rpms but when i put it back on the idle went down to 650 rpms. Yesterday I checked it and it didn't do anything. I unplugged the isc and started the car and nothing happened. I can heard the 3 clicks though. Any idea please.

i had a similar problem with my isc,sometimes it would work,and other times it would just idle at about 650 rpm's or die. I took off the isc and cleaned out alot of carbon build-up and tested it via some instructions I found on this site. Now it runs with no problems. If you can find a spare at your local junk yard,i'd take it. The isc for the 7mge and the 7mgte are the same.
Check it exactly the way the TSRM says, if you think that is the problem.

And this is the way I go about doing things. But I think its fully worth the price of admission to get brand new parts you KNOW have a long life ahead of them, rather then junkyard ones which are a guessing game.
