I took my 88 supra to the dealer ship and they fixed the idle problem.afterwards i changed the oil and got a bottle of restore to mix with the oil.now the idle started acting up when i put a tablespoon in each cylinder hole where the spark-plug goes.I put the spark plugs back and the throttle body back together, turned her on and she stalled a couple.Alot of smoke was coming out the muffler for a half an hour to it burned away..i did noticed that i did'nt have anymore oil on my spark plugs, but after that she just can't idle on her own.Constantly i have to keep my foot on the gas if not she will stal.could soome body help::dunce:: ::dunce::

I dont know why you would put that stuff in the spark plug holes(unless you are doing a compression test and trying to see if you can raise the compression but that is another story) but you will need to clean the top of the pistions with some combustion chamber cleaner to get rid of the carbon + you probably will need some new spark plugs as they are probably bad now.

I guess i love to learn ::dunce:: the hard way.And i will never do that again.

1. Throw out any and all oil additives in your possession.

2. Change your oil and filter.

3. Install new spark plugs.

4. Start Car.

5. Report back to let us know what's up.
