I just installed a new clutch in my car and the battery was disconnected for 2-3weeks. i have a 7mge with a turbo kit on it. i took the exhaust off at the downpipe beacuase the rest was shot. So i have just a downpipe on the car. I only ran the car for about 10-15 mins but it wont idle. Does the computer need to relearn how to idle or is it because there is no back pressure?
Thanks steven.

once evrything is plugged back up, get the car started let it idle for a good bit. the cpu will auto reset. You may have to go around the block and shut the engine off at a sign, and start it again a time or two but it'll sort it for ya.

the gte gets its back pressure from the turbo so rinning all stright pipe is good.
if you take the turbo OFF, then you'll lose the back pressure and then yes, its the same. unless the stock exhaust is still present.
