identify parts of starter

Can someone please identify where these plug into? I can't seem to find anything and when someone took my car apart it wasn't exactly neat so i'm in the dark.
On this first one what is small tab next to the plug?

On this one what is the tab next to where you hook up the positive from the battery?

That one is the "trigger" for the starter, you should have a lead coming off your main harness that plugs into that. Your fist pic I have no clue, you should only have two wires to hook up on a starter. The trigger, and the main from the bat.
