Alright guys in about a week I will be buying a jdm 7mgte and i want to know how can I tell what the redline is, pre89 or 89+?

Remove the oil pan and check what crank is in it. You are going to remove the oil pan any ways to replace the oil pump and reseal the pan so it dosen't leak correct
did the strong blocks come with 6m crank ? i know you can tell blocks just by looking at the ribs on side..
My early JDM engine came with the weaker block & 6M crank.
I just bought a late engine (rod knock), that has the stongerer block, and had the 7M crank.

What's wrong with KPH?
Try saying that to an european. All the speedos here are in km/h. A speedo with miles is considered strange and uncomfortable.
I am going to replace the oil pump and seal the pan, but where is the crank marked at so I can tell what it is?
