Ok some time ago my car stopped running well every day. (march) By that I mean I would not idle were it was supposed to. Stall or stay at 1500 all the time. Some times it would be fine like 80% of the time. Time gos past my hg blows and I replace the Iac and the wiring harness going to it. It works ok and then idles too low and then too high. I just installed my map ecu 2 and I still need to get it tuned but can I delete the iac. I know one of our vendors makes a block off plate but how will I get enough air to make it idle? Plz help me with this. Im soo tired of this idle issue the stalling and bs.

Did you check the TPS adjustment...
I had the same idle issues due to a faulty TPS.

as for deleting the idle valve, I believe most just use the throttle set screw to hold the butterfly open at the desired idle. Not sure how that would work with MAP ECU though.

iv checked for vac leaks and the tps volts stay the same.

Its not the voltage you're concerned with so much as the idle switch within the TPS. read the TSRM for procedure to check and adjust it

You will need a set of feeler gauges and a DMM to do it properly.

Also, have you checked your engine codes? Jumper T & E1 in the diag box turn key on and count the engine light flashes. Make sure AC is off completely and car is in park or neutral.
