I need some advice!

Hello fellow users! My dad's had his MKIII sitting around for about 17 years under a tarp now. And i was wondering where is the best place to start tearing at it. I'm fairly new into the tuning world so i'd like some advice from more experienced people and how you guys got started.

Depending on the Mk3 you have (turbo or N/A) - there are specific subforums for each type to ask for advice. Try and be specific, are you looking for power/restoration/suspension etc.
