First of all, most people here don't like it when you type in all caps.........just so you know. It supposedly means that you're yelling.

Secondly, have you looked at this kit Driftmotion sells. You can get it for the 1jz and the 7mgte.

I don't know anything about the master power turbo and I'm not saying that it isn't a good turbo. I just thought I'd give you another suggestion. Good luck with your choice.

What supporting mods do you have?

I'd suggest making sure all of the basic repairs are taken care of before you throw a bigger turbo on your stock motor and start boosting past stock levels.

the best way to find out what kind of turbo you need to hit 400 at the wheel is to go to Turbobygarrett.com and calculate your volumetric efficiency and your absolute pressure among other things. That way you will know what your pressure ratio is and you will be able to plot your data on the compressor map. The reason why you see moderate turbos making the same amount of power as some of the big ones is because the people with the big turbos do not bother to do this. (or lack suppporting mods to push enough psi to get the turbo working at decent efficiency) :icon_bigg Oh and the Master Power is a pretty good Turbo....

i would definetely go with the boss series turbos... there are many choices as far as sizes. they are "bolt on" and they offer a complete install kit with all the ss hoses needed if you dont want to fabricate your own. suprasport offers great customer service and will walk you through any problems you encounter during the install.
contact greg at suprasport. very knowledgeable guy to talk to and will answer all your questions about turbo selection

after the boost controller, afc neo, and wideband are installed, along with your mods, you should be able to make 400hp with a good tune

That should get you to 400whp, but IIRC not too much more. If you do the td06, get your manifold ported, you will be a lot happier.

I'm putting a new turbo on mine. I had the stock c26 on there and it was ok. That one was failing so I had it rebuilt. Rebuilders can get different compressor wheels and new journals kits and slap that c26 back together. Polish it up and you'll be thrilled at how nice it looks. Mine failed pretty soon after that because of thin oil and my tendency to be hard on equipment.
A problem with the C26 is that nobody sells a new cartridge for it. The cartridge is the "guts" and includes everything from "fin to fin". A rebuild uses your existing turbo shaft (correct me if I'm wrong anyone) with a kit. The cartridge is a brand new factory manufactured unit. A cartridge will run you a couple of hundred dollars and it's like putting a factory fresh long block in vs. a rebuilt engine.
I'm having my c26 housings bored and made to accept a greddy cartridge. With that said I wouldn't "upgrade" my c26 with trims etc.

You have to have the engine that can handle the HP, an intercooler that can reduce the temp of the gases as well.

Used turbos is a tricky business. Shaft play is a indicator but c'mon its not like you can do a compression test or inspect much.

So guys which one is better for me ? i cant sleep with out thinking which turbo to go with
your talking about to totally different turbo's.an upgraded ct would bolt to all your existing part's.the t4 turbo will require a new manifold,dp,intake, wastegate, and oil line's.
a 60-1 upgraded ct will not make the same power as a t4 60-1.
you nee to ask yourself
1)do you want to just bolt one on
2)are you willing and able to do a full t4

Do u think a t61 masterpower turbo to big?for a stock motor

As long as you have enough fuel and a good tune...which it looks like you will...you will have no problems bolting on that MP T-61. (as long as you are willing to buy manifold, wastegate etc...) I do not think it is too big, look at the compressor map: http://64.225.76.178/catalog/compmaps/t61.html

It all depends on how much boost you will run

Garrett?

They give the how! I took the how, and made it easy ( I already did all the hard work :p )
