i'd say go for the second one. the first one has tons of mods and would be fun but also most likely came over from japan where it was bagged. the one at the dealership might be them trying to dump it though for 9000 so make sure you get it inspected somewhere other than the dealership. i paid 9500 for my usdm 92 and it was stock and it had a leaky headgasket.

Lose the thinking that you can't haggle with a dealer! Either he wants to sell the car or not. There won't be too many people walking in ready to drop that much on a 16 yr old car. If you let him know you are serious, and want to take it home TODAY, he'd be stupid to not knock off $500-1000 really easy.

They both came from japan. So not too worried about that because gonna be opening the engine up in either vehicle and clean in right out and verify for any repairs needed or replacing.

I'm looking more at the 1st one because of all mods done to it already and there are only a few things i would change about it right away like the bov because its chipped here and there but not sure which i should be getting because i plan on eventually running closer to 600hp and would like to have bov to handle that.

The 2nd one, BOV is negliglable, you won't be taking the twins anywhere near that, maybe a little more than 50-60% of it. If you are shooting for 600, get the one more stock, as all the other parts will not be used.

well yeah they are both from japan but one was someones play car and one was someones weekend car. i'd opt for #2 but like you said if your gonna take it apart anyways why spend way more on those extra parts

Agreed why pay for some one else parts when you might not need them. if you not going to stay twin, and it doesn't sound like you are. Take the car with the less beatting and is in better shape.

There aren't that many engine mods on that long list of mods on the first car. Most of what's there, you will keep. I'd almost say spend the extra cash, and get the mods that you put off until after you got your HP goal met. It'll save you work in the long run. there's not much you'd ditch, and you could sell what you didn't want.

I agree with forcedtorque that the vast majority of the mods done are body and suspension mods which takes away a lot of work needing to be done suspension and body wise and plus it already has good rad and a decent front mount intercooler. And for power which turbo would you recommend i've been looking at the gt35r or the t60 but what would you guys recommend and from what site or company it's from thx for the help.
