I have an 88 mk3 and ever since I got it the blower motor has'nt worked and I've already changed the following items... Resister, Blower motor, heater relay, the 40a breaker, and fuse. It has the auto climate control with an AC button but none of the AC crap is under the hood so I don't know if something was unplugged that might keep the blower from getting power. Help it's cold here!

See if you put the temperature on the highest setting if you get heat. Also, look at the lever on the heater valve, move it upward and see if you get heat. If you do, you either have no vacuum to the valve to operate the actuator or the actuator is bad itself.

Go to the TSRM and follow the electrical diagram. Turn on the setting for heat and check the blower plug to see if there is power. If not, go and see if there is a signal going to the resistor as well.

Ok if there is no power getting to the resistor or fan then the problem is either the head unit or wiring between right?

Thank you I'll check it out as soon as I can find my wire tester. Maybe I should put my tools away when I'm done. lol

On this subject...I have vacuum going to my actuator but it wont switch the vacuum. The diaphragm works good because when i put a vacuum pump on it I get heat and it doesnt leak down. Guessing I need the electrical actuator?

I checked both plugs and I'm not getting power at the resister or the blower motor. I looked at the wiring diagram and my eyes crossed and now I don't know what the next step is. I already changed the head unit and didn't get power to the plugs. Any advice?

Every time I see a wiring diagram my head explodes. Me and electrical stuff just don't work well.
