i know its kind of alot to ask, but if anyone knows where any of the lines and hoses in these pictures run, a little help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

this hose is located right at the throttle body

this is located half way back on the inside of the intake mani

wondering if anyone knows where the smaller of the two runs to
p1047178_4.jpg

im not sure if this is a coolant hose, or where either end if it runs (smaller one)

where either if these run

the line my finger is pointing to, located also about half way back on the intake mani on the inside

The first and last pictures are the vacuum lines for the power steering idle up valve.

The 2nd hose pictured goes to a 1jz component I didn't even use on my car so can't help you there.

The smaller plug in the 4th pic is possibly PPS? Is it a 2 pin white plug?

For the hoses in the 6th pic, one is the same as the one in pic #2, which i didn't use, and the other I used to a vacuum source for the boost gauge etc.

In the 7th picture, if the hose you are pointing at is connected to that valve screwed into the intake, it is the vacuum line for the map sensor.

there should be 2 map sensors connected to the intake.. in a factory install, there's a vacuum line from the back of the manifold to a map sensor on the firewall that is connected to the ECU, while a line from the side (fender side, behind the diagnostic plug) of the manifold runs to a map sensor in the strut tower area that is connected to the boost gauge on the dash....

from memory another vac line on the side of the manifold towards the rear heads to the charcoal canister and T's off to connect to the Vacuum Switching Valve on the firewall for the heater system.

Where does that hardline go in the 5th pic? (The bigger one)

The PS idle up valve is usually connected right where the high pressure port is on the PS pump.

That PPS plug connects to the small white connector coming from the steering rack on the passenger side, you'll have to extend one of the two sides to get them to plug together.

I have the larger one in the 5th pic all set, just wondering about the smaller hard pipe.

thanks

1st pic: to PS idle-up valve
2nd pic: to bypass valve via smaller hardline in 5th pic - hose looks a bit long though
3rd pic: to IAT sensor on the mani right in front of your index finger :p
4th pic: smaller is PPS, larger is crank position sensor. PPS wires are plenty long already. I snaked mine back through the harness. Or you can extend them back over to the driver's side.
5th pic: big pipe: IACV air supply, small pipe: bypass valve vacuum line
6th pic: smaller line is just vacuum, hook that one to the tee at the firewall for your heater valve and cruise control. bigger line goes to the bypass valve line in prev pic.
7th pic: filter for MAP sensor, connect the line coming off that to the MAP sensor visible in pic 6
8th pic: to PS idle-up valve

PS: replace your PCV valve and line with a 2JZ one
