Okay, my 88 supra was born with A/T transmision and I was wondering if I could some how rewire it to the M/T ecu that I just bought. Am I gona have to buy also the wiring harners to wire it to the ecu that I bought?

You may be in luck, the mk3 the transmission computer was separate from the ECU. It's in the passenger kickpanel. However, as to what you might have to wire to get them to work together (or if it's possible at all) I have no idea. Considering that 7m ecu's aren't all that hard to find you might be better off just getting an auto ecu.

...or are you doing a 5spd swap? It's not clear. If you're doing a 5spd swap you should be able to use the auto harness and a MT ECU with the neutral start bypassed.

Yeah I am doing a 5 speed swap. I want do the R154 transmision. I just hate the auto transmision that I have in my supra. Will it be much easier if I just get the harness to match the M/T ecu.

the auto harness with work just the same as long as you jump the neutral start switch. you will just have a few extra plugs that you wont need. in my 88 that i swapped i used the auto harness with no problems at all.
