A new, in-the-bag, 1988 Supra turbo MT engine harness...

okay, okay...I know it's not the last one- hell, probably a dozen guys right here on the forum have a new one squirreled away on their parts shelves. But it just makes me happier telling myself it's the last one.
I didn't even need it, but when I saw it pop up on Ebay, I had to have it. I just don't know if I have the balls to actually USE it....so pretty....

Nope, I to have one still in the orig. bag and box that it was shipped in from Champion Toyota by Jeff Watson 3 yrs ago. It will go in my 87 when everything else is done. They are indeed rare and no longer available from Toyota.

i picked up a new harness last year, it's SO nice to work with compared to the old crappy one.

however, i had a problem with the coolant temp sensor plug, one of the pins wasn't seated properly. so even a new harness can cause issues.

Yes, I am thinking of putting it behind glass.
I don't know if the Ebay seller is on the forums, but let's just say that I got such a rediculously good deal on it, that after receiving it-
I sent the guy MORE money, simply because it was a steal- and I appreciate the value of the part that much.

I have a 88 turbo harness still in the bag as well. Had it for about 5 years now. Idk if I'll ever use it but it's not for sale lol.

I've got a new harness that I got here on SM. The guy installed it on the motor, and realized he needed an '89+ harness. I don't remember what I paid for it, or even if I'll ever use it as I have several pre '89 harnesses in great shape. I just jumped on it because it's new.

I'd LOVE to come across something like that. The parts of my harness that aren't brittle have green crap in the wires. Gonna take the time to rebuild mine piece by piece with some weather pack harnesses in strategic locations when I get a daily.

I read the wiki blurb that S.A. had posted on the messenger pidgeon....Wow.
We americans killed it off in less than a hundred years- from 5+billion, to zero, by using it as meat for slaves or something.
Wow.

And yeah- I didn't need this one either, but I was drooling over it on Ebay. I;m going to guess that the guy is not on the forums, otherwise he would have tried to sell it here first- and would have gotten WAY more money than he got off me.
