powell river bc
hello my name is greg. im new the site, but not new to the supra.

i got my first supra all the way back in 2004, a 82 p-type. since then ive owed 6 mk2's, and 3 mk3's, with the mk3 being my current car.

my first mk3 was a fluke, while working at the autowreckers, a guy apprached me asking who owned the black supra (my 82) and after a chat on the supra he asked if i wanted to buy a 88 turbo supra. he said it was in a front end accident, so car was toast but motor was good, swap the turbo into my 82. so he said for 1200 i could have the whole car. i bought it sight unseen, and when i got the car all that was wrong was the door caved the fender in. so i sold the 82, and drove the 88. being my first turbo car i instantly fell in love with boost. i drove the car for a year and a half, spent 10 grand on it (5 spd swap, new turbo, all the fun stuff) before it got stolen in calgary, after which i aqquired a 84 p-type which my ex-gf got impounded and never went back for it, as the impound bill was more than i paid for the car.

after moving back to bc i ended up with a nissan 200sx turbo (atleast it was boosted!) drove it till the engine seized, and then a 87 turbo targa auto came up for sale, and is now my dd.

but now im stuck with a bone ass stock car, starting from scratch all over again, but i have years of supra knowedge that im sharing with those here on the fourms. its kindof sad when you can re-build a engine sleeping lol.

hope to help out those new to the supra on here, and increase my knowedge on the car aswell.

Greg
