Hey everybody, i have a question for you all;

Does, or has, anyone noticed a significant emotional effect caused by eating certain foods? not physical, i know all about food allergies and how some people just dont react well to them and get stomach aches....i'm talking mentally.

about half way through today I started feeling really shitty, and i'm not sure why. theres just one thing; my dad doesnt eat papa murphy's pizza because it makes him feel weird, and it puts him in a bad mood.

up until now i've eaten the papa murph. pizza every now and again, not much, but i've never thought it might effect me.

but last night at around 9 i had around 4-5 slices of two different PapaM pizzas, and today i had one reheated slice. and i dont like how i feel right now.

i also stayed up until around 3 (long day) and woke up at 8:30...maybe its that?

it could be something else, but i dont thing things that happened to me today were enough to make me like this. can food do this?

maybe its because i didnt get enough sleep, but i thought i'd see if anyone has found out hard evidence about this kind of thing. research or a doctor or something...about the food.

I think you need to get laid, and then take a really good shit. If that doesn't work, go see the doctor. Good luck.

haha...thanks for that. made me laugh.

i know it will go away tomorrow, but i was trying to figure out if the pizza is what did it....so i know to avoid it. its darn good pizza and popular, but if its doing this crap to me, i'm not eating it anymore.

a good diet has a noticeable affect on ones mood.

maybe its not the place you get your pizza from, but how much of it you eat.

Me and pizza do not get along, therefore the only pizza I eat is my wifes homemade pizza. It's not greasy, so I can eat it without dieing............lol

we had to put napkins down on one of the pizzas, it had oil puddling... so gross.. lol.

lagged - good point, thanks. for me that might be it, maybe i'm not prone to small amounts of pizza there, but combined with two full days, rather limited sleep, and several slices...it was too much for me. for my dad it only takes one slice and it throws his mood off a lot.

i talked to him more and he said he is pretty sure the pizza does that to him. after eating it, for no good reason - hello baaaad mood. and its obvious.

I just havent thought it was a problem with me sooo i wasnt sure. and i dont quite feel like buying more and exprimenting my theory....the only good part of that plan is the taste.

thanks for the insight. damn pizza.

Tomato sauce drives my acid reflux MAD. I eat a couple of slices and I'll be clearing my throat all day and night.

I don't know about foods driving how you feel, but I know that some days I'll feel like complete crap. You just have to find something to get you through. Find a couple of laughs, work on something entertaining to keep you busy. Bury your mind in something that will lighten your mood.

pretty good eatin'...just the whole make you depressed and extremely tempermental part.

its what my dad, and now i, call "psycho pizza"

thanks guys. i feel lots better now. i played drums, guitar, went on these boards and posted... it helped.

i had homework i didnt really get to do because i couldnt think, but now i'm better and i'm going to go to sleep.

thanks again, i appriciate the positive words. :D

and if anyone later on comes up with the answer to the psycho pizza mystery, let me know. its still something i'll be pondering
