I have an 89 turbo targa tems supra. I happen to get a really, really good deal on a set of Eibach springs for the Supra. The thing is I am not sure they are going to work. They are attached to the Tokico Blues (non TEMS) struts. My supra has tems and mines an 89 and the struts and springs I bought came off an 87. I know I have to take off the cervoes off, but is that all I have to do to just slap these on there? Will it work on my car, what do I have to do? Thanks!

they will work but you sill lose tems....seriously no big deal.

Alright just checking. I wanted to make sure so all i have to do is slap em in there and detach the tems. I will get Illuminas and HandR's later but for now I want some struts that aren't blown and some better suspension and I am sure this will do the trick =D Thanks Morris!

You realize the springs wil work with both TEMS and non-TEMS, right? It's the Tokico Blues that makes the strut non-TEMS.

They will not work, and if you read the manual for them it states that you have to sell them to me for 1/4 of your cost.

Seriously though, they will work fine.

The only thing that I was makeing a big stink about was the year. 89+ like mine is kinda different from pre 89. I just needed clarification. =D

Have fun doing the front shocks!!! Especially the pas side!

Just have to pull the fender liner in the front and loosen the mounting bolts for the washer reservoir to make room to slide that big ass bolt out. lol

I had the upper control arm bolt seized in there on the driver side. We managed to change the shock/spring out without undoing the control arm but it was a bitch and a half.
