well the car was having trouble starting so i charged the battery and started her up.. she sputtered but then idled fine... I let her warm up for about 15 minutes then took her for a little ride around the block. she felt fine so i boosted her and she still felt fine... but then my temp gauge started to rise about 3 quarters of the way so i pulled over about a half mile a way from my house and let her cool down. after letting her cool off for a half hour or so i started her back up and she sputtered but idled pretty good... started driving her back home when she sputtered and died. i was rolling so i dropped into first to start her back up and she felt awful... when i gave her gas the throttle response sucked and the low rpm range was terrible. if i kept it over 2500 rpm's she felt ok but i wasn't going to boost her and under 2500 throttle response sucked as she sputtered and i had to drop into gear after she died a couple times... any way i got her home and let her idle in the driveway where the idle bounced around and had a little bit of smoke coming out of her ass... i also heard the "waterfall" in the dash but i recently changed my coolant and thought i had an airlock a week or so ago but after all this i believe that my airlock idea was wrong. i took the cap off the rad. and let her idle to see if i could get the airlock out but the coolant level seemed to stay in place until a burst of coolant flew outta then stopped i added coolant and it didn't do it again but the level of coolant didn't really drop. also the fuel pressure was at 38 psi. there are times when she smell rich but i dont have and a/f gauge yet so thats not def. compression test to come this week.
just gimme the bad news now
