I am coming to Orlando this weekend, what to do?

I am taking some time off and I will be spending a few days in Orlando, Friday till monday before we head to Daytona beach, any thing I should make sure to see or do while I am out there. I think we are spending day at Universal, and the Richard petty experience sounds like fun, any one done that?. What are some good restaurants in the Kissimmee area?

Is it still spring break there?

Not quite. Although 5 18-19 year olds just got busted in Daytona for trying to steal a 3ft(oh you're Canadian, make that about .9m) alligator.

Earth Wind and Fire will be at Universal tomorrow(Sat). But as far as food down by Disney, I wouldn't have a clue since I live on the opposite side of Orlando about an hour away. On your way to Daytona you'll pass Lake Mary/Sanford (Hwy 417) which is about as close as you'll get to where I'm at.

If you're into space travel you could always head out towards Cape Canaveral and visit the new Shuttle Launch Experience at the NASA museum.

Yea, NASA is very impressive. I'd skip Disney world, but Universal is pretty fun. If you get the chance, go to St. Augustine, its like 30min north of Daytona or so. By far, my favorite town I've ever been too.
