i have a 1992 toyota supra single t67 turbo. i bought the car for 5,000 bucks and over the past year have but 5,000 into it with parts and labor. its a very long story but the motor has been rebuilt and i just got it back from the shop rebuilding the bottom end. i was driving today (same day i got it out) was fine around town, then drove it about 45 mins away to where i work, built boost ran fine. got off work and car was smoking really bad (white smoke) antifreeze is in the spark plug holes so my thoughts were head gasket. but it has a custom cermatic head gasket that was just put on not to long ago? ideas?

Ceramic hg first of its kind i guess. Get a real builder sorry.

If your not doing the work your self i have 3 people i would send it too. In no order. Aaron at driftmotion, Jose at kaizen, and rich at sip. I do my own work and if rich wasnt so far away i would have him do my machine work. Since im local to socal i would ask jose or aaron where they do theres.

No matter what if you go with any 3 you will never have a problem

I also have other friends that will do the same and i trust but these 3 have names that are known. And there are only a few amount that i would trust.

Bro, DO NOT GIVE UP. I bought my supra for 5 grand. Supposive rebuilt engine, had some goodies in it, blah blah blah. I drove it about a month, not hard, just boosting every now and then. Well I came out of my house and started it up. The car shook horribley. It felt like it was trying to roll over on the roof and die it was that bad. Well, turns out after a week of checking it out, the the hg had blown, in between each cylinder (have no idea how it ran, but the headgasket didnt lie.). I finally got a real story about the "rebuilt engine". Yea, the PO had only rebuilt the block, did absolutely NOTHING to the head. And slapped a mhg on it. Well, everyone can guess what happened.

So I rebuilt her the correct way. And now my car has mostly likey, just a guesstimatent, about 8000 more grand into it now. Just dont give up man, these cars, when they are good, they are GREAT. But when they want to act up, prepare for hell on earth.

7m's are one of the most tempermental machines i've ever seen. If they are not properly maintained/Taken Care Of, They Ram you in the arse. But if you spend the time/money to make it right, They are also Extremely Reliable. Everything has its pro's and cons. But i mean if your tired of spending money you could always go build dsm's...........oh wait.............. :)

always do your own work as much as you can. i usually only take my parts to get machined (only becuase i dont have 50k to spend on machinery nor the knowledge).

other people dont care about your car the way you do.
