I'm still looking to upgrade my computer to a standalone, and I'm taking my time to decide what is best for me. I did come across this new EMS that is quite nice, it is called the Hydra EMS II. This EMS has some great potential for half the price of the HKS I believe. Finding a tuner, thats another story, but I'm sure that anyone that has dealt with the AEM EMS can figure thing out in no time. What I like about it the most is that like the HKS unit (which is very EXPENSIVE!) it has the auto-tune feature. Where you can tell the ecu to hit a target AFR and it will do it's best to compensate, then you can save that map and tune from there. It also says that it is plug and play to the MA70 and JZA80 Supra. I'm sure I could give them an ecu pin-out and they would be able to give me a harness to make it plug and play. Also, it has barometric pressure compensation which I like with me driving from Florida to IL every once in a while, I dont have to worry about my AFR's being far off at all and having to do a re-tune.
Any comments are welcome on this EMS. I hear the MR2 guys swear by this unit.
