Have you checked for codes?

Clutch is easy to check. In 5th gear on the highway, at about 1500rpm, accelerate as hard as you can. As the speed increases, keep an eye on the RPM - if it jumps up suddenly without a similar increase in speed, your clutch is fried.

Could also be a boost leak - have any of your intercooler pipes been replaced since the car was new? If not, chances are you have a bunch of leaks.

the car is red. just been power polished and detailed so it's nice and shiny. and does it sound like it could be a engine problem. at 3k rpm if you try to accelerate it doesn't do anything no raised rpms or speed or anything

sounds like a clogged catalytic converter to me

Buy a downpipe and exhaust - I bet your problem will go away
