how to update to 89+ steering wheel?

Hey guys,

I've got an MA70 1986.5

and have now got my hands on the newer steering wheel with all the buttons on the side.

Just wondering how the wiring should go and if anyone can point me in the right direction. and also if anyone else has done this please lemme know.

Hi Ben,

You just install the wheel and connect the wires that are same colour and theres only one that dosnt fit and if I remember correct Its a yellow/green connected to a brown

Only thing to remember is you cant engage the cruisecontrol from the steering wheel -

kewl thanks for that, i was hoping to run those wires up into the steering wheel so that they could start from the steering wheel. anyone made this possible?
