HI I'm wondering how I can test my walbro 255 my cars running lean and bogs frequently.

Just trying to figure out if there is a way to test it before I put my 20year old original one back in.

thanks

Oh and I am using the 12v. mod with a relay
my mods are , f-con,fmic, 2.5in piping, fcd, 60-1, 10lbs of boost and the walbro 255.

thanks

i assume you want to test flow, not if it works or not?

if you want to test flow:

pull the fuel supply line (i have no idea your fuel setup, so dont know how easy this is to do on your car)

put the supply line in a bucket with quart markings (be sure it is secure)

jumper +B and Fp in diag box

have friend (or dog) hit a stopwatch when fuel flows into bucket.

when you have 4 quarts (gallon) stop the watch.

from this you can calculate your gph (or lph)

i would also test the voltage at the pump. often old wire will have a voltage drop and you aren't powering the fuel pump at enough voltage. lower voltage = lower output

caution: be sure you arent on carpet or anything that can produce static when testing fuel!

i'm sure there are better and/or more accurate ways of doing this. this is the way i learned how to do it back in the old days lol
