How to test a HKS SSQV Copy BOV

I've got one of those HKS SSQV copies laying around in the garage, I'm thinking about mounting it on my 7M-GTE.
Is there a simple way to test it before I mount it?
It looks to be of pretty high quality...

someone took one apart before...its nearly identical to the actual thing. I believe only way to test it is to actually have it on the car

^ I think that's pretty much the only way to test on too. Put it on and run medium boost, then let off abruptly (after the car is fully warmed up of course ). If you hear it, and you should, unless you're running open downpipe or something, then it's good to go. If not, take it off, take it apart and check it out...

i was using one but switched to original, only difference betwean original and fake is that SSQV copy is using plastic inner ring, while HKS unit has aluminum (???) inner ring
