Hey guys,

I have a later version supra wheels on my 1990 Supra which is on my car right here (yes, this is mine):

Since I wanted to try Plasitdip to see the results of a blacked out wheels, I decided to find some inspiration. Well this is what I was going for similarly:

Now, of course, this is not necessairly blacked out due to age, but I would like to get my wheels to a decent looking blacked out with a little bit of that shine/reflection.

Oh, here's the image to the supra that was for sale. The second link was off a 1990 Toyota Supra 1JZ-GTE Japanese import from Japanese Classics:

Those stock wheels has the perfect color of "black/grey" that I was going for. Now since I'm a novice with painting as well, I decided to go with black Plastidip. I know there are people who don't like that, but personally for me as a novice, if I don't like the black matte color, or if I messed up, I can simply peel it off. So I have some form of safety net when painting the wheels. If there is a way to paint with plastidip to get the results as the blacked out supra wheels in the second link, then I would be happy to know how it is done or what I should do to get it to a very similar state!

An example that I DON'T WANT are these super dark black matte color of the wheels on this supra:

Notice that the wheels are super matte black? Yeah, I'm not going for that kind of black and darkness with matte. I want a result with the supra in the second link. :)

Speaking of these kinds of wheels, where can I get the original ones? I've been looking everywhere and most of the websites say "Low inventory" or out of stock. :(
Here is just some info to the wheels that I've found on this website:

You're looking for a gunmetal grey then, right?

Those wheels came on the 91/92 model only. Post up a "Want to Buy" thread in the classifieds. I've got a set of those 5 spokes but I'm about to paint them back to original and put them on my car.
