How to remove 86.5-88 Tail Light Amber Piece?

they are really PITA to remove. i heard soem people just like tappign each end lightly to get them out.
As I'm finding out... I would have to break the clips to get it off. Could I get away with smashing in the amber pieces and just having amber Bulbs?? (Legally of course)

Depends on the laws where you're at.... technically, I think ANY modification could be considered illegal, but since the majority of the fixtures will be unchanged I highly doubt you'll have any trouble as long as you're using amber bulbs.
Yeah, simply because they weren't DOT certified without the amber reflector. It wouldn't stop me from doing it.... it's not like your puttin in an all clear unit with all white bulbs... I seriously doubt anyone without a MKIII fetish would ever notice.
