i can read it, but its the comprehension i have trouble with..dont understand what im reading.. you just want to make sure your inside the circle right? and that the center section is more efficent than the outer sections... correct me if im wrong please.... i am still reading that other post..but thats helpfull, and i suck at math..

Cliff notes: It takes XX cfm/lbs of air to make XX HP you need to find a map that will give this amount of air within the efficency island at the pressure ratio desired that will work with your available fuel.

There's a LOT of math involved and as I said theory doesn't always equate to the real world ;)!

Main thing to keep in mind is you're building a matched system it all has to work in harmony!

An example is I'm running 2.5" IC pipes I chose these as the flow from my Turbo will be under the critical Mach number speedwise so should give me much better throttle response than 3" while not losing any HP.

If I changed the Turbo for a bigger one I would have to change the pipes.

so in you example going larger IC pipes, would the IC have to be larger 3" also? ,and the exhaust too right? also bigger 3.5"??
its a vicious circle... hahhahaa just complex air pumps..
