What you will need is this :
-1JZ torque converter, since 2JZ torque converters won't work. (Optionaly you could use the 7M by adding threaded 2.1mm blocks welded on top of the TC boltplates and turning an extension shaft to go onto the TC support shaft. - lots of work though)
-1JZ bellhousing
-keep your old 7M ECT box
-Take out all the ECT related wiring from your old loom and tape it into your new loom, then feed the ect the proper signals back from the new loom.
*** using the 7M torque converter you will end up 2.5 cm's too far away from the flexplate as it is closer to the engine block than on a 7M engine. There is no fun in trying this, tightening everything up and then noticing this as you are trying to bolt the torque converter to the flexplate. Ask how i know
